What to watch for
Signs Thermal Imaging May Be the Right Next Step
When moisture or temperature changes are difficult to trace, thermal imaging can help identify areas that may need closer inspection and moisture verification
Recurring Dampness
An area that repeatedly feels damp after drying or cleaning may require further evaluation. A thermal scan can help narrow down where moisture may be entering or spreading

Local considerations
Thermal Imaging considerations in Coral Gables
Coral Gables' signature Mediterranean Revival homes — many built between the 1920s and 1960s — feature aging plumbing and original roofing that are especially prone to water intrusion. The city's dense canopy and proximity to Biscayne Bay amplify flooding and storm damage risk during hurricane season. Year-round humidity accelerates hidden mold growth inside wall cavities and under tile. Masterpros specializes in the careful, high-standard restoration that Coral Gables' historic and luxury properties demand.

Process
How Thermal Imaging works
We begin with a free inspection to review your concerns, visible damage, and the areas that may require thermal imaging. This helps determine whether a thermal scan or another inspection method is appropriate
We review recent leaks, moisture concerns, storm exposure, HVAC issues, and affected materials. This information helps focus the inspection on the most relevant areas of the property
ccessible walls, ceilings, floors, cabinets, plumbing areas, HVAC components, and other surfaces are scanned for unusual temperature patterns. These patterns can identify areas that may need closer evaluation
Suspicious thermal patterns are checked with moisture meters and a physical inspection when appropriate. This step matters because thermal imaging shows temperature differences, not moisture by itself
We review the findings to help narrow down where moisture may be entering and how far affected conditions may extend. Additional leak detection or testing may be recommended when the source is not confirmed
We explain what was observed and outline practical next steps based on the inspection. Recommendations may include monitoring, leak repair, structural drying, water mitigation, mold inspection, or further testing

We met with Pavel of Masterpros on our property to discuss remediation of mold.We had already had reports done which he had previously reviewed. We had to change the appointment time twice, and he was cooperative to do so. He always responded to my messages or called back promptly .When we met with Pavel, he examined the various areas and concluded that mold was not a serious problem and that some local cleaning around the air-conditioning vents and the air-conditioning unit would solve the problem. Along with giving us other tips and answering all our questions, he was with us for about 40 minutes and indicated there was no charge. when I felt badly about taking his time without giving him any business and offered a tip, he refused. I would strongly recommend this company ,

During the home-buying process, our inspector never mentioned an existing water heater leak. After we noticed a mildew smell, Rene from Masterpros quickly located the source of the problem and completed the remediation on time. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and thorough. Very positive experience! We highly recommend Masterpros!

We have been dealing with condensation and moisture issues in half of our home for over two years. We initially consulted with several companies to get professional opinions on the potential source and determine what our next steps should be. Unfortunately, many of them immediately tried to convince us that we had a severe mold problem requiring immediate remediation. Some even encouraged us to file questionable insurance claims and disappeared once we realized they were simply trying to take advantage of the situation. Then we found Pavel, and he has been the exception. He is the only professional we have worked with who genuinely took the time to help us determine how serious the issue actually was through monitoring and air-quality testing. Based on the results, he never pressured us into unnecessary remediation. Instead, he has continued to help us investigate the source and find the right solution. After having a new roof and new AC ducts installed, Pavel has continued to help us monitor whether our moisture issues have improved and has remained available to provide guidance whenever we need it. We may eventually need remediation, but with a toddler in the house, we have been very cautious about taking that step until it is truly necessary. Without a doubt, we would trust Pavel and his team to handle the job professionally, honestly, and correctly. Thank you, Pavel, for being a gem in a world full of unreliable contractors and businesses! We truly appreciate all of your help and guidance.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a great experience with Master Pros. They were professional, responsive, and made the entire process easy from start to finish. Communication was excellent, they showed up when they said they would, and the quality of the work was outstanding. It’s hard to find a company that is both reliable and genuinely cares about doing the job right. I would definitely recommend Master Pros to anyone needing restoration services.

Pavel and his guys showed up when they were supposed to and worked hard to meet our expectations. They even went out of their way to make things right instead of just getting the job done.
