Emergency water extraction is the first step after water enters a property - pumping and vacuuming out standing water before it spreads further into flooring, walls, and belongings. We met with Pavel of Masterpros on our property to discuss remediation of mold.We had already had reports done which he had previously reviewed. We had to change the appointment time twice, and he was cooperative to do so. He always responded to my messages or called back promptly .When we met with Pavel, he examined the various areas and concluded that mold was not a serious problem and that some local cleaning around the air-conditioning vents and the air-conditioning unit would solve the problem. Along with giving us other tips and answering all our questions, he was with us for about 40 minutes and indicated there was no charge. when I felt badly about taking his time without giving him any business and offered a tip, he refused. We have been dealing with condensation and moisture issues in half of our home for over two years. We initially consulted with several companies to get professional opinions on the potential source and determine what our next steps should be. Unfortunately, many of them immediately tried to convince us that we had a severe mold problem requiring immediate remediation. Some even encouraged us to file questionable insurance claims and disappeared once we realized they were simply trying to take advantage of the situation.
